Visit by A Delegation from the National Research University Higher School of Economics to Our School
On the morning of January 10, 2024, Denis Fomenkov, Vice President and Dean of the School of Management at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Russia, along with Anna Shilovskaia, Director of the International Office, visited our school for an exchange. They were received by Qiu Huanguang, Dean of the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, and Vice Dean Zheng Shi. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on enhancing educational cooperation in relevant fields.
Qiu Huanguang welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. He pointed out the school's strong disciplinary advantages and emphasized the vast potential for future educational cooperation between China and Russia. He expressed hope that both sides could leverage their strengths to continuously deepen the level of exchange and cooperation. Zheng Shi shared his expectations for future cooperation and offered specific suggestions for student exchanges. Professor Sheng Jiping provided an in-depth explanation of project cooperation for students in economic management between China and Russia, suggesting collaboration in training agricultural professionals and skilled talents.
Denis Fomenkov expressed gratitude to the school and highly praised Renmin University's contributions to advancing Sino-Russian academic cooperation in economic management. He emphasized the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation between the universities. Anna Shilovskaia introduced the basic situation of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and expressed a strong desire for cooperation with Chinese institutions. Both sides engaged in detailed discussions on enhancing talent cultivation.
The meeting was also attended by Professor Sheng Jiping, Professor Yu Kangkang, Associate Professor Wang Xiangrui, Assistant Professor Hou Yihu, and Assistant Professor Liu Qi from the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China.
