Biography:

Lu Qinan, from Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province, received a Ph.D. in 2023 from the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His main research areas include Agricultural Economics, Resource and Environmental Economics, with specific research interests in Food Security, Agricultural Social Services, Adoption of Agricultural Technology, and the Impact Assessment of Climate Change and Air Pollution on the Agricultural Sector. In recent years, he has published multiple papers as the first author and/or corresponding author in important domestic and international journals such as Food Policy, Agricultural Economics, Journal of Housing Economics, China Economic Review, Issues in Agricultural Economy, and China Rural Survey. Additionally, several of his working papers have been presented at international academic conferences organized by the American Economic Association (AEA), Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA), Chinese Economists Society (CES), and Chinese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (CAERE).
