Biography:
Xing Chunbing is a professor at the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China. His main research areas include urban-rural migration, income distribution, wage structure, human capital and education policy, and urban-rural labor markets. He has served as a consulting expert for the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research, among others. He has undertaken or participated in multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation of China.
Professor Xing has published over 50 papers in various domestic and international journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Development Studies, International Labour Review, Journal of Housing Economics, China Economic Review, Economics of Transition, Economic Research Journal, Management World, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Journal of Financial Research.
