Biography:
Recruitment Areas: Rural Development (Master-Doctoral Combined Program in Agricultural Economics and Management); Rural Development (Doctoral Program in Rural Finance/Food Systems)
In recent years, Zhou Li has delivered specialized lectures at the Central Party School, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, and various local governments including Beijing. Topics have included:"Four Comprehensives: Comprehensive Deepening of Rural Reform", "Urban-Rural Integration and New Urbanization", "Food Safety and Ecological Agriculture", "Rural Financial System and Market Development".
Over the past few years, Zhou Li has published over 100 papers in academic journals such as Financial Research, The World Economy, Modern China, China and World Economy, Finance and Trade Economics, Economic Herald Weekly (Hong Kong), Modern Insurance (Taiwan), China Rural Studies, Contemporary China Studies (USA), and presented at academic conferences including those held at Harvard University, University of Paris, University of California, Los Angeles, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Baptist University, the Asian Public Research Network (APRN, Manila), and Oxfam HK. He has also contributed to decision-making consultation meetings for the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission, and the People's Bank of China.
Zhou Li has authored five personal monographs and has edited or contributed to over ten other books. He has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China. Additionally, he has overseen three projects funded by the Ministry of Education's Doctoral Fund, co-led two projects under the 985 Project, one under the 211 Project, two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and three major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation and the Ministry of Education. He has also directed over ten projects funded by the Beijing Social Science Foundation, the China Doctoral Fund, and the People's Bank of China.
