Biography:

Kong Xiangzhi, born in March 1963 in Tancheng County, Shandong Province, is a professor and doctoral supervisor. In 1985, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy from Shandong Agricultural University, and in 1988 and 1997, he obtained a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Economics from Renmin University of China, respectively. Since 1988, he has been teaching at Renmin University of China.

Currently, Kong Xiangzhi is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Renmin University of China. He is also a Distinguished Professor in the first cohort of Renmin University of China's "Distinguished Scholars" (Position A), the Director of the China Cooperative Research Institute, the Director of the Chinese Tea Culture Research Center, and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal "China Cooperative Economic Review."

In recent years, he has published over 400 academic papers in journals such as Economic Research Journal, Management World, and the Journal of Renmin University of China. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 books. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the first prize for Soft Science Achievements from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Beijing Teaching Excellence Award, the Beijing Outstanding Teacher Award, multiple Higher Education Scientific Research Excellence Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences), the China Rural Development Award, and the Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellence Award. He has also received a special government allowance from the State Council.
