Biography:

  Liu Jinlong, born in July 1966 in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, holds a Ph.D. in Sociology of Rural Development from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Liu Jinlong has published over 100 academic papers, including more than 30 papers in SCI or SSCI journals. He has authored or co-authored over 10 books, including three in English. From 2013 to 2018, he has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one major project at Renmin University of China, and more than ten commissioned projects from various ministries and commissions, with a total funding of approximately 4 million RMB.
