From a global perspective, although modern civilization and advanced science and technology are highly developed in today's world, poverty still exists. The spread of poverty and the expansion of impoverished areas have become a deep scar in human civilization. In China, anti-poverty has always been a paramount task for the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the government, with its achievements attracting global attention. Summarizing anti-poverty experiences that best reflect Chinese characteristics and systemic advantages, and effectively narrating China's story, are crucial aspects of embodying the "Four-sphere Confidence". As the first comprehensive research university established by the People’s Republic of China, anti-poverty research at Renmin University of China is intricately linked with China's poverty alleviation journey, writing a splendid chapter.
